New Website for Mitchell HS Alumni. All alumni are encouraged to visit and join the alumni Site www.mitchellhighschool.com and join the band alumni discussion group. Currently we are sixth in size and we would like to be the largest (above former athletes). This is a great site to reconnect with former classmates and keep up with friends from high school. Mrs. Drum is home and doing well after her surgery. She has had her drain removed and is doing her rehab exercises consistently. Her doctor said that everything went as expected. Four weeks after surgery she will have radiation treatments and then take Avastin for about a year. Mr. and Mrs. Drum would like to thank everyone for their prayers. We would especially like to thank David Hamlyn, David Geouge, Carla Cook, Ruth Drum, Kris and Hannah Gold and Tim, Kristen & Stephanie for keeping Mr. Drum company during the surgery. Sharon still hopes to come home on Wednesday. Mitchell County is the best place in the world to live. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers. We will continue to use this site to update you on her condition. God Bless you all.

The Band/Chorus Trip was a great success. The band received a rating of excellent and the chorus received a rating of good in their first Florida Competition. We got many constructive comments and learned a lot. Posted 4/1/2009
